Mobile travel fees are based on distance from Glendale for Monday–Friday appointments from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM, and from Tarzana at 4:00 PM and later, before 8:00 AM, and on weekends. After 4:00 PM we may be near Chatsworth or Tarzana, but travel pricing is considered from Tarzana. All times are Los Angeles local time. Your travel fee is reviewed and confirmed before acceptance.

Mobile travel / service fee
Mobile travel fees are based on distance from Glendale for Monday–Friday appointments from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM, and from Tarzana at 4:00 PM and later, before 8:00 AM, and on weekends. After 4:00 PM we may be near Chatsworth or Tarzana, but travel pricing is considered from Tarzana. All times are Los Angeles local time. Your travel fee is reviewed and confirmed before acceptance. No private home address is publicly displayed as a mileage starting point.
Additional charges
- After 9:00 PM only: +$20 after-hours fee.
- No weekend surcharge.
- No same-day surcharge.
- Hospital, assisted living, correctional or detention facility, complex-access, unusual-distance or other special appointments may require a custom quote.

Jail & Detention Facility Notary — Starting at $200
Specialized facility visits subject to access, scheduling and facility requirements.
The facility visit/service fee starts at $200. Final pricing depends on the facility, location, distance, access and security requirements, anticipated waiting time, and circumstances of the appointment.
Applicable California notarial fees are separate from the facility visit/service fee.
Ordinary mobile travel-fee tiers are not automatically added to the facility visit fee, and jail appointment pricing is never calculated from mileage alone. Every jail or detention request receives individual review and a final quote from LA Notary On Call before confirmation.
An optional $50 jail appointment reservation deposit may be requested after your request is accepted and is credited toward the final quoted amount.
- An optional $50 jail/detention appointment reservation deposit may be requested after acceptance. It is credited toward your final quoted amount and is not an additional fee.
- The deposit is refundable if the appointment is cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment and customer no-shows forfeit the reservation deposit.
- If LA Notary On Call cancels the appointment, the deposit will be refunded.
- If the appointment cannot proceed because of a facility lockdown, facility cancellation, inmate transfer or release, denial of access, or another circumstance outside the customer's and LA Notary On Call's reasonable control, LA Notary On Call will determine whether the appointment can be rescheduled or the deposit refunded based on the circumstances.
Correctional and detention facilities control access, scheduling, security procedures and inmate availability. LA Notary On Call cannot guarantee that a facility will permit or complete a scheduled notary visit. Additional documentation, advance approval or coordination may be required by the facility.

In-person Glendale appointments — $0 travel fee
Best value: weekday daytime visits at our Glendale Center cost only the notary fee ($15 per signature) — no travel charge.
Scheduled in-person visits are available Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM only. No walk-ins are accepted. No mobile travel fee applies when you come to the Glendale appointment location. Applicable notarization fees still apply, and paid parking is available at the customer’s expense.
Parking, tolls and access charges
Parking, tolls, and required facility or access charges, when applicable, are separate from the travel fee and notarization fee. For mobile appointments, actual parking, toll, or access costs may be added with no markup. For Glendale appointments, customers are responsible for their own parking charges, if any.
Optional deposit — $15 Glendale / $25 mobile
- Deposits are optional. If requested after your appointment is accepted: $15 for Glendale (come to us) appointments and $25 for mobile appointments. The deposit will be applied toward your final amount due.
- The deposit is refundable if the appointment is cancelled at least 4 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- Cancellations within 4 hours of the scheduled appointment and no-shows forfeit the deposit.
- If LA Notary On Call cancels the appointment, the deposit will be refunded.
- The deposit is not a California notarial fee. It is an appointment reservation deposit credited toward your final amount.
- For Glendale appointments, arrival instructions are provided when the appointment is confirmed.
The deposit is arranged directly with LA Notary On Call after your request is accepted. No payment is collected on this website and no card details are ever stored.
